About bevello clothing boutique

Welcome to bevello, a shopping experience tailored to you.

Launched in April 2009, bevello (with a lowercase “b”) is a one-of-a-kind boutique in-store. One of our core goals is to develop new ways to make your shopping experience exceptional.

Most big name clothing companies want to keep you at an arm’s distance. bevello promises to give you the respect you deserve and the help you need, all while making your time with us a fun, no-hassle experience.

The Philosophy Behind bevello

At bevello, our founding principle is this: the love you get is the air you breathe. Customers of bevello should expect nothing less than a unique love-centric fashion experience. Love your life, love your friends, love your clothes. When you shop at bevello, we want you to feel loved. It is our mission to help you dress your best and feel your best wherever you go. You won't just be our beloved customers, but also the beloved of everyone who lays eyes on you.

The name bevello is derived from "bella," the Italian word for "beautiful," mixed with a little "love." bevello's logo is “bve,” thoughtfully designed to be read as both an abbreviation for “bevello” and “love.”

  • Natalie Braswell

    Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, or as the ultra-super-hip call it, "the dash."

What do you do at bevello?
I'm the store manager at the Thruway location in Winston-Salem. I also dabble in social media, marketing efforts and event planning.

What are your favorite books or movies?
As far as movies go, I like comedies and especially movies that the general population thinks are terrible. Pan's Labrynth is the only scary movie I like, and I've been told that it isn't actually scary. My favorite books (for the time being) are Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri, How To Lose Friends And Alienate People: A Memoir by Toby Young, Seeing in the Dark by Timothy Ferris (came across this one in an Astronomy class!) and my favorite, God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by Kurt Vonnegut.

What are your hobbies or interests?
I love reading, writing, studying and appreciating art and architecture, pedal boating (seriously), watching terrible television and doing laundry. I also really like going out to eat, even though it gets expensive!

What is most important thing in your life?
Besides bevello, right? My family, friends and my education are the most important things in my life. It's cliche, but I am quite fond of the people around me and I take the lifelong learning process very seriously.
